It is important for our wrestlers to continue their progress through their break. Of course I want for them to enjoy their break, and have a great holiday filled with family, friends, and fun. The reality is that one of the biggest meets of the year is the first week we come back. Beyond that we only have four weeks to prepare for districts once we get back.
All workouts during the break are mandatory for varsity girls and boys. The workouts are open to all wrestlers. If a varsity boy or girl is to miss any workouts, an email must be sent to Coach Rayome ([email protected]) explaining the reason for missing. Generally, athletes will be excused as long as it is provided that they are out of town. We have set up the workouts so we get in early, so the athletes will have the rest of the day to spend how they wish. The goal is to provide them with an opportunity to maintain and improve over the break without interrupting their break events.
Below I have posted an extra copy of the workout schedule that was provided to your athletes earlier in the year.
